Make Your Own Heirloom Tomato Salad

While at the downtown Worthington farmers' market (on High Street) with Ben and Ashley, I discovered the people who are supplying Northstar's heirloom tomatoes: Northridge Organic Farm. You can find them in the Worthington farmer's market on Saturdays and at Upper Arlington market on Wednesdays. Truly amazing! I especially love the deliciously earthy purple ones.

Actually, the Worthington farmer's market is on Saturdays, not Sundays, from 8 till noon.
And while you're there, please support my friends Jason and Sheri at Nightcrawler Gardens by buying a few sunflowers or lillies. They're usually set up right in front of the Worthington Inn.

Oh I miss Columbus. I'm sure there are heirloom tomatoes here in OxOh but I have yet to find them. May I ask how much they were asking for the heirloom tomatoes at the market? I thought Northstar's salad was a little overpriced, albeit delightful, but maybe I am just a dolt on the price of the lovely tomatoes.

Oops. Sometimes I have trouble remembering what day it is :). Thanks for the correction. I have edited the entry to reflet that saturday is indeed the day of the Worthington Farmer's market.
As for pricing, I think the tomatoes were 2.60 a pound.
